I wasn't able to get the DVD sales numbers but I agree. Just when we think the VG stars are hitting their peaks, they only get more well known to a even more diverse audience. I think one mark of a great film is when the cast is a made up of a lot of young actors who go on to long careers. Who knew that Ewan would be in Star Wars, let alone in Moulin Rouge and then on stage in Guys and Dolls, that Johnny would play Elvis on American TV, and that Christian, after odd balls like The Machinist, would play Batman. It's a re-release goldmine [pardon] awaiting some exec with half a brain. [DVD, all the extras, booklet, copy of the screenplay, a little glitter makeup, in a lovely gift box, release before the holidays... it ain't rocket science, Harvey!]
