Her book about the Independent film scene, Shooting to Kill has a chapter on the making of Velvet Goldmine and additional stories about the film from the producer's point of view. They lost a million dollars from their budget right before the shoot started and without her the film would not have gotten made. |

Date: 2004-05-18 02:18 pm (UTC)First, I think that this site is already going to be a wonderful place to visit. Why I already feel as if I'm stepping out of Jerry's well appointed office, and into a Lear jet full of glam.
Second, today's "little dose" is such a great example of how it takes work and planning and time (if not oodles on money) to execute even the dreamiest work of art. I admire Todd so much for seeing this through!
