Date: 2004-06-22 03:57 pm (UTC)For one thing, I think those Americans without a script might not get the exact dialogue, and then unless you are an anglophile, they are not familiar, since they really aren't used here in the States. I suspect that that is part of their charm to Todd, there is a far more colorful array of terms for homosexuality in the U.K. than in America. Perhaps it has something to do with being ruled by a Queen... ;-)
