Script:
Very close on a chessboard. A knight takes a Queen.
The game of chess as a symbol of Death has been around since the Middle Ages when Christian iconography used the image as a memento mori in the time of the Black Plague. In Ingmar Bergman's classic film, The Seventh Seal, Death plays chess with a knight. Medieval manuscripts and art objects portray the tragic lovers Tristan and Isolde playing chess. And in this symbolism, Brian would have to be the queen, rather than the king, a pun on his gayness, of course.
Although the Queen is the most powerful and versatile piece in the game, her capture does not mean that the game is over.
