Hmmm, I actually agree that T.V. Eye is very poorly mixed on the soundtrack -- the version in the film sounds far, far better, and the vocals on the soundtrack seem a bit...off. Based on that article, however, that seems to be much more the fault of whoever did/failed to do the mastering and a rushed schedule for the soundtrack than of Ewan himself. After all, he sang in the film and sounded fine.
